Project description
Our client, an apple and kiwi grower in the Moissac region, was already equipped with micro-sprinklers and drip irrigation systems, as well as frost protection sprinkler system. His 60 hectars orchards is supplied in water from different pumpings units (from boreholes, river…) and the global management was difficult. Our Client was looking for a solution to improve his irrigation and frost protection organization, but wanted to keep manual control.
What we did
We offer him to centralize all the irrigation from one point by creating a custom manifold. This manifold will recover all irrigation flow from different sources and supply water for the different sectors and to the different irrigation systems.
We designed and manufactured this manifold in galvanized steel, equipped it with all necessaries accessories (valves, check valves, pressure control and regulation, flowmeters…), and installed it.

Results
The centralized manifold allows to our Client to earn time and money by managing the irrigation systems for these 60 ha from one point. Moreover, this organization secures frost protection operations when necessary.
